The latest thing I tackled in my beach bedroom makeover was transforming a plain, inexpensive table lamp into something more custom and coastal feeling.
First thing I did was change the base. With the help of a faux paint finish I made the clear glass look more like frosted white sea glass. Next I glued bits of blue, green and white sea glass all around the bottom of the shade.
Although, I'm not sure this lamp feels "finished" yet. I think I might add more glass around the top of the shade. But since I'm undecided I'm going to live with it a while and see how I feel.
