All you need to make these Cinnamon Spiral Sweethearts is a tube of cinnamon rolls.
I unrolled each bun, so I had long strip of dough. Then twisted it into a spiral. Once I had the entire strip twisted I placed it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shaped it into a heart. Pinching the end so the heart stayed together.
When all your rolls have been turned into hearts. Bake on the parchment lined pan at the temperature the package suggests but for less time. (My rolls said to bake at 400 for 8-12 minutes so I baked at 400 for 7 minutes).
I'll use my icing as a dip but you could also drizzle it over the top just like a regular cinnamon bun.
Enjoy!
I can smell the cinnamon! These look yummy and cinnamon is such a mood lifter!
