Valentines Giveaway: Craft Your Heart Out!

It's Wednesday and I'm halfway through my week of giveaways everyday in celebration of my one year blogiversary! And Wow... thanks so much for all wonderful comments, links and new followers this week!

I've had a blast reading through each and every comment and visiting your blogs. I especially liked reading the comments for Tuesday's e-book giveaway. It was great to hear what some of your blog goals are for this year.

Yesterday I hinted that today's giveaway was for a "Lovely holiday".

Something I knew about myself long before I started blogging was that I love to do crafts themed around holidays. Not only has this blog been a forum for sharing those projects but it's been an excuse to do even more of them (i.e. "What's that honey... you don't think we need to dye 2 dozen easter eggs since it's just the two of us... but I need some for the blog!).

If you want to check a few of my holiday crafts form the past I have the different holidays listed in the labels on my sidebar- this one is is Valentine's Day.

Today's giveaway is all about the next crafty holiday...Valentines Day!!! I've put together this selection of materials themed all around the holiday.

I love to use all of the things here...

Decorative Scissors and stamps (there's also a purple ink pad).

Mini ribbons

Heart shaped cookie cutters- good for way more than just making cookies- They make great tracing templates. I also use them a lot for cutting polymer clay (don't use them for food and clay though- just one or the other).

I found this really cute mini pack of Martha glitter... it even comes packaged with a neat little glue pen. (It's just not Valentines Day without a little sparkle!)

There are also doilies and these adorable heart shaped cards.

Oh yeah and I picked out some Valentines paper- because I love paper and card making, so that paper you see is included too!

Here's how to Enter:

1. Leave a comment telling me which holiday is your favorite for crafting (Good for one entry). And if you're a follower or become a follower mention it in your comment and you automatically get an extra entry (total of two chances to win)!

2. Regardless if you're a follower or not- if also link to this giveaway on your blog- you'll get an extra entry (Please leave the link so I can verify it).

That's up to three chances to win!!!

This giveaway ends Wednesday night January 20th at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time and is open to international entries.I'll choose a winner using a random number generator and announce who won in my post on Thursday afternoon.

And here's your hint for tomorrows giveaway- It a packs a punch of sweetness.

Thanks again for all the blog love this week- Good Luck and thanks for entering!

Update: Congratulations Jill from woolshappening- you won the E-book. Diane will be emailing you her book. I hope you enjoy it.

And Lil Missus- you won Monday's sharpie giveaway but I haven't haven't heard from you, please contact me with your address by Friday.

  4. Those cookie cutters are adorable, I'd be making cookies immediately if I had those!

My favourite holiday for crafting is definitely Christmas because that's when I get to make lots of presents for everyone and decorations for the house, and also every year I make some sort of edible treat, package it up nicely and give it to my co-workers. And does making Christmas cake count as crafting? :)

  25. Valentine's Day is my favorite time to craft. I've always loved Valentine's Day, whether I was single or with a significant other. It's a great time to tell people who are important to me that I love them. I once made little rug hooked hearts for everybody who attended a single girls Valentine's Day party. That was big fun!
