Super Easy Decorated Dog Collar

This weekend Lucy is going to the watch her dad run the St. Pat's race and then she's going to be at the parade.

She needed an appropriate collar.

I found a spool of Shamrock ribbon at the craft store that I liked and a plain green collar at the pet store.

With a little fabric glue I attached the ribbon right down the center.

Almost instantly, Lucy's had a new collar!

My cute little model posing for the camera. That's her good side.

  1. Aww, that's cute! I think I have that ribbon too and I made pattern magnets out of it. Happy St. Pat's Day!

  3. Thanks Ladies- it was one of those quick, easy satisfying projects.

Jane- pattern magnets sound really interesting! I have a lot of that ribbon left... maybe I can made some magnets with it.

  6. Thanks Ann- Lucy actually does get pretty excited about a new "necklace". I think it's because we make such a big deal about it telling her how pretty she is. (It's either that or her fashion sense). LOL

Joanne- this was totally easy. Bella could have one in about 5 minutes! And I know she'd look so cute with a ribbon accented "necklace"!
