Down for the Count

I've been feeling horribly ill for a few days now. There is a wicked stomach virus going around that has actually landed me a place in the hospital- getting fluids, and hopefully feeling better soon.

Being here has given me lots of time but very little of the things I need for blogging: a craft, a camera, the will to do anything but lay here.

I did have my husband bring a bit of knitting for me yesterday, but I have yet to do any of it. Here is an old (and really dark) picture of a new scarf- it really doesn't look much different from this photo, just a few inches longer.

I'm using a really fun yarn Di. Ve Fiamma in the lavender color 18795. That I got (on sale) from my local yarn store (huge, amazing, can't believe its so close to me, yarn heaven) webs.

Also, just for the cute factor (and because I haven't seen her for a few days and miss her)- a picture of Lucy after she helped paint the kitchen. She is very crafty and helpful, never resisting a painting project no matter what mom and dad do to try and keep her out of it.

  1. Aw... get better soon! I'm working on a scarf with a similar yarn right now too - and our pup Bella looked a LOT like Lucy after we painted our dining room :) Take care of yourself!

  2. Thanks Joanne. Glad the knitting is working out for you, your stitches are looking beautiful- looks like you have a knack for it!
