Spinning for Mom- Popsicle Yarn

Adventures in spinning have been going well. So well in fact I'm going to try and give a presentable yarn to my mom (besides even if something goes haywire and it's terrible and all uneven... it's my mom she's sort of predisposed to liking it, right).

Mom picked this really interesting colored fiber that goes from a deep rich purple to pinks and finally electric orange.

Today was an amazingly hot day for April in New England (I think we hit 90, usually we're in the 40's to 50's). It was like the middle of summer around here and with the summer on the brain these colors made me think of popsicles.

I can't wait to see how this popsicle yarn spins up when all is said and done!
