I've been giving the spinning wheel a bit of a workout lately and I think it's time for some of that "little to no maintenance" my wheel will need from time to time.
I took a look at the directions over the weekend and they are- " Use only vaseline to grease the plastic bearings. Lubrication of the ball bearings is not needed".
Great, glad the ball bearings don't need lubrication- problem is I'm a total novice and had no idea what the heck the rest of this meant (or even what the bearings, plastic or not, were).
But here is why I love Louet- On Sunday I emailed them basically saying that I was an idiot and hadn't a clue where the plastic bearings were. Literally told them a diagram would be helpful.
I got and email back the same day...
Let me repeat that one- I got an email back... the same day.
The nice person said my email would be forwarded to the technical equipment person, who wasn't in that day but would get back to me.
And you know what- they did!
The very next day I got an email from the that person (by the way it was a personal email, not a form email) with clear directions and yup that's right- a diagram (complete with highlights). And a note saying if I needed anything else to email her directly.
This was such great customer service! I was really impressed with them. I just love when companies make a positive impression since so often it seems to go the other way.
And I'm a total believer in giving kudos where kudos are due- so that's why I love louet!
P.S. I know I've been light on the posting lately. My sister had to have an emergency surgery (she's recovering just fine though) and I was on babysitting duty. For someone inexperienced in watching an infant- it was really interesting! But I think I'm still worn out from the experience!
